Description

Tenuta Ulisse's Premium Chardonnay is a white wine produced in the Abruzzo region. The vineyards are cultivated on calcareous-clayey soils which benefit from a unique microclimate shaped by the meeting between the influences of the Adriatic sea breeze and those of the mountain winds. This particular environment emphasizes the complexity and aromaticity of the Chardonnay grape.

The selection and processing of the grapes follow innovative techniques such as cryo-selection and cryomaceration, processes that allow the aromatic compounds of the grapes to be preserved and enhanced. Fermentation occurs slowly at a controlled temperature of 11°C in thermoregulated and inert tanks, aiming to maintain the aromatic integrity of the wine. The refinement takes place in steel tanks and then in the bottle

At sight it presents a brilliant straw yellow color, enriched by greenish reflections. The nose is a triumph of intense and fruity aromas, with evident notes of ripe tropical fruit such as mango, banana and yellow melon. On the palate it reveals excellent persistence, offering a balance between aromatic intensity and freshness.

This wine pairs perfectly with sauced fish dishes, as well as shellfish and vegetable-based side dishes.
