Description
Chardonnay Brut Le Contesse is obtained from grapes from the most suitable owned vineyards in the province of Treviso, located at an altitude of 40 meters above sea level.
Once the harvest has been completed, the vinification operations begin with the soft pressing of the bunches. The fermentation then begins in steel vats followed by second fermentation in small capacity pressurized tanks according to the Long Charmat Method, with subsequent ageing on the lees for about 8–10 months.
At sight it is characterized by a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, by a soft and abundant foam and by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose there are intense and fragrant fruity and floral aromas accompanied by held hints of yeast and bread crust. Full, fresh and soft on the palate, it closes on a pleasantly acidulous and fruity finish.
Excellent for cheering up the aperitif, it is suitable for all types of appetizers, for dishes based on vegetables, fish or white meats.
