Description
The Rosé Champagne by Pol Roger is the only rosé label produced by the historic maison, an expression of elegance and charm. It is born from a skillful blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims, with a portion of Pinot Noir vinified in red, which imparts structure, color, and aromatic intensity to this seductively charactered Champagne.
The vinification involves fermentation in steel, followed by a secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with aging on the lees for 7 years. This long period contributes to the creation of a very fine and persistent perlage and gives the wine complexity and harmony, respecting the distinctive style of the maison.
Visually, it presents an intense and luminous pink hue. The bouquet is broad and fruity, with hints of ripe red fruits and notes of small berries. On the palate, it is refined and enveloping, with aromas of strawberry and vanilla accompanying a long and velvety finish.
Perfect paired with sushi, light fish, or fruity desserts.
