Description

The Champagne Brut Grand Cru Spécial Club boxed by the maison H. Goutorbe is a blend composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. The Goutorbe maison, located in the municipality of Aÿ, began the production of Champagne in the 1940s. Since then there have been generations, always committed to maintaining a high quality profile in the artisanal production of Champagne.

The first fermentation of Champagne takes place in steel tanks, the second takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise method. The wine ages on the lees for at least 60 months.

In the glass the wine is brilliant, with a golden yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose recognizes aromas of white flowers, golden apples, ripe yellow plums, citrus fruits and aromatic herbs, with a finish reminiscent of the biscuit. The wine envelops the palate with its intense, fruity and persistent taste, which well balances freshness and minerality.

Pairing with fish and white meats, for example with baked tuna in a pistachio and caper crust or with rabbit with herbs.
