Description
The Rosé by Louis Roederer is a refined Champagne, made from grapes sourced from the estate vineyards located in the crus of Cumières and Chouilly. The grapes used are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, reflecting the perfect balance between structure and freshness.
This Champagne is produced with a long and delicate infusion of Pinot Noir, which allows for the extraction of ripe juice while preserving its saline freshness. During the process, Chardonnay juices are added to the Pinot Noir to ferment together, ensuring a harmonious integration between the two grape varieties. Part of the wines has been aged in wood, with partial malolactic fermentation.
Visually, it presents a beautiful pink color with copper reflections and a fine, consistent effervescence. On the nose, the bouquet opens with notes of berries, such as strawberries and wild raspberries, and citrus fruits, including blood orange, accompanied by delicate hints of rose petals and macarons. With aeration, iodic and chocolate notes emerge, with a spicy and resinous touch of cedar. On the palate, it is caressing and silky, with a soft texture that evolves into fresh and iodic flavors, with hints of chocolate and chalky freshness in a long, saline, and pure finish.
This Rosé Champagne is perfect for pairing with seafood dishes, smoked salmon or fruit desserts, enhancing the elegance and complexity of the wine.
