Summary
- Champagne AOC Grand Cordon, 0.75 l
- n. 2 flutes
Description
Champagne Grand Cordon is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes from over 100 crus, each with unique characteristics. The blend is completed by a substantial percentage of reserve wines that give greater depth to the product.
It has a golden yellow color and a very fine and lively perlage. The nose has intense aromas of ripe fresh fruit, especially white peach and apricot, enriched by aromas of tropical fruits reminiscent of lychee and pineapple. It closes on notes of vanilla, toasted bread, honey and dried fruit. In the mouth it is extraordinarily fresh and persistent, with an elegant caramel finish.
Excellent as an aperitif, it is perfect to accompany white meats, fish and cold cuts.
The red silk ribbon, engraved directly into the glass of the new iconic bottle, was initially placed on bottles intended for the maison's most prestigious clients and became so famous that it was associated with the style of Mumm champagne itself.
