Description
This Champagne Rosé Brut is produced by the Maison Champagne Barons de Rothschild, founded in 2005 by the union between the three branches of the noble family (Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Clarke, Château Lafite Rothschild).
It consists of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The Chardonnay undergoes alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation. Pinot noir is vinified in red. The wine ages on the fine lees for 6-7 months. This is followed by the sparkling process according to the champenoise method and an aging on the lees for at least 2.5 years.
The Champagne has a pale pink colour, with a fine perlage. On the nose there are hints of citrus fruits, white flowers and fresh fruit. On the palate it is fresh, with a silky texture and a mineral and persistent finish.
Excellent in combination with Asian cuisine, sushi and white meats.
