Description
Taittinger's Champagne Prélude Grands Crus is an assembly in equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, selected only from the best Grands Crus vineyards of the appellation. The cuvée obtained from only first pressing wine, ages for 5 years on its lees.
It is characterized by a pale and bright pale yellow color with silver reflections, a delicately creamy foam and a very fine perlage. On the nose it offers a fresh and slender bouquet, with mineral aromas that make way for green and floral notes, including elderberry and cinnamon flowers. In the mouth it becomes fine and complex, with an exceptional balance between freshness and aromatic expression.
Excellent as an aperitif, it lends itself to accompany traditional fish dishes.
