Description
Bollinger PN is a cuvée exclusively composed of Pinot Noir, expressing the Maison Bollinger's unique vision for this grape variety. Each edition represents a distinctive interpretation of the terroir of origin, carefully selected to enhance the unique characteristics of Pinot Noir. The acronym and number on the label indicate the main cru and the base year.
The Bollinger PN cuvée is obtained through a blend of wines vinified in steel and wood, integrated with reserves aged in magnums for at least seven years. This process combines Bollinger's winemaking expertise with the goal of creating a champagne with a unique flavor. The selected grapes come from the best crus, underlining the importance of terroir in the final result.
On the palate, Bollinger PN stands out for its depth, elegance and tension, with a finish that recalls the typical saline notes of chalky soils. The high percentage of Verzenay in the blend gives complexity and refinement, enriched by intense aromas due to the reserve wines. The synergy between Pinot Noirs from different villages adds further layers of flavour, making this cuvée harmonious and delicate.
Bollinger PN pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish dishes, enhancing the delicate flavors with its refined and complex structure.
