Description

Collery's Champagne Brut Grand Cru is a sophisticated and well-balanced Champagne, made mainly with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This cuvée highlights the diverse terroirs of the Champagne area, offering an experience that celebrates Collery's unique style.

The winemaking involves alcoholic and malolactic fermentation completed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, guaranteeing a pure and precise base. A fifth of the blend is then matured in large barrels to further enrich the complexity of the wine. The part of Chardonnay that matures in Sauternes Grand Cru barrels adds a distinctive touch to this cuvée.

This Champagne has an intense golden yellow color, enriched by amber reflections and a cord of fine and dynamic bubbles. On the nose, rich and complex notes of fresh pastries emerge, stone fruit such as nectarine and plum, spices such as cinnamon and a light hint of iodine. On the palate it offers a lively attack of citrus aromas such as mandarin and bergamot, culminating in a long and fresh finish, with subtle peaty notes.

Perfect to be enjoyed as an aperitif, this Champagne is also ideal for accompanying seafood, sushi and lightly smoked fish dishes.
