Description
Sophie Bouchet's Champagne Fût de Chêne is a prestigious and complex cuvée, created from a balanced blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes come from the renowned regions of the Ardre Valley and the Montagne de Reims, famous for their unique terroirs that give elegance and depth to this Champagne.
The different grapes are vinified both in steel vats and in oak barrels, a process that enriches the wine with a structure and deep and complex aromas. The aging in the cellar lasts 7 years, a long period that allows to develop a unique aromatic range and a mature character. Then this quality sparkling wine is disgorged and rests for at least 6 months before being sold.
It has a pronounced gold color and fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, fragrant woody aromas emerge with delicate notes of vanilla, which combine harmoniously with hints of toasted and buttered brioche. On the palate, it reveals a remarkable balance, offering a rich and layered complexity that culminates in a long and pleasant finish.
It pairs perfectly with refined dishes based on white meats and mushrooms.
