The Champagne Mémoire Extra Brut by Huré Frères is a work from vineyards located in the Montagne de Reims and Vitryat, two of which are classified as premier cru. The soils, rich in chalk and clay, are ideal for viticulture, contributing significantly to the unique profile of this wine. This champagne incorporates a blend of over 30 vintages, kept in the solera method since 1982, thus telling the story of its territory and of Champagne itself.
Winemaking takes place through spontaneous fermentation in steel, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle according to the classic method. The liquer de tirage prepared with the solera method, which includes over 30 vintages of vin de reserve, from 1982 to 2016. Further refinement in foudre perfects the complexity and maturity of the wine.
Visually, it stands out for its golden reflections and fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it presents notes of fresh hazelnut and mirabelle plum, demonstrating exceptional freshness and energy despite the years of aging. On the palate, a frank purity emerges that reveals the richness of the Champagne terroirs, culminating in a long and memorable finish.
