Description
Les Pommiers is a sparkling wine produced in the Epernay region, known for its distinctive terroir and its exposure to the sun which gives freshness to the Meunier grapes. This wine is obtained from a mass selection of Meunier, planted in 1968 on a chalky soil which contributes to the complexity and immediacy of the fruit. Les Pommiers represents family heritage, with vineyards cultivated for generations to ensure the highest quality.
The vinification of Les Pommiers takes place partly in wood and partly in stainless steel, with the malolactic fermentation completely carried out. The wine was disgorged in two sessions, with a meticulous process that aims to enhance the natural characteristics of the grapes and maintain a perfect balance between freshness and complexity.
Les Pommiers presents itself with a brilliant color and a fine foam. On the nose, it offers complex aromas of quince, hay, brioche, currants and peach. On the palate, it stands out for its elegance and refined structure, with fruity notes that blend harmoniously with a light creaminess and vibrant freshness. The taste persistence is long and pleasant.
This sparkling wine is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany moments at the end of the evening.
