Description
The Champagne Grand Cru Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Le Fond du Bàteau by Philippe Lancelot is produced in the Chouilly vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Originally, this land was known for its Pinot Noir praised for its refinement. Today, the parcel located at the foot of the town called "Le Montaigu" is covered with Chardonnay. This Champagne coming from vineyards cultivated according to biodynamic principles best expresses the characteristics and history of its territory.
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and the vinification takes place in wood and stainless steel, ensuring complete malolactic fermentation to sweeten the natural acidity and enrich the aromatic profile of the wine. The absence of added sulphites maintains the natural integrity of the wine.
Visually, it has a bright golden color with a fine perlage. The aroma is rich and complex, characterized by fruity, mineral notes and a distinctive freshness. In the mouth, the wine is balanced, delicate and aromatic with a mineral structure that recalls the olfactory profile.
This Champagne is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany a complete meal. Of great charm and elegance, it is perfect for refined gastronomic occasions.
