Description

Perrier Jouët's Champagne Brut Belle Epoque Rosé is produced only in exceptional years from grapes coming from some of the most suitable terroirs in Champagne. Cramant, Avize and Le Mesnil for Chardonnay grapes, Mailly, Aÿ, Verzy and Rilly for Pinot Noir and Dizy for Pinot Meunier.

The cuvée is characterized by the elegance and floral freshness deriving from these Chardonnay grapes, by the richness given by Pinot Noir and by the hints of red fruits typical of Pinot Meunier, to which red wines based on Pinot Noir are added which give the product has a faint pink color. Following secondary fermentation, this champagne remains in the Maison's cellars for at least 6 years under controlled conditions.

The Champagne Belle Epoque Rosé by Perrier Jouët is characterized by a pale pink color with orange nuances, accompanied by lively and persistent perlage. It releases very fine and delicate notes of red fruits on the nose, including red currants, raspberries and pomegranate, and immediately afterwards walnuts, brioche, honey and caramel. In the mouth it is fresh and round, with notable vigor and persistence.

To be served as an aperitif, it goes beautifully with feathered game, including duck or pigeon meat, and with desserts based on red fruits.
