Description
Champagne Brut Silver Top by Heidsieck & Co. Monopole is a refined blend that expresses the mineral character and elegance typical of the Champagne region. Made with a predominance of Chardonnay, enriched by Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, it comes from vineyards exposed to the south and south-west, which enjoy an ideal microclimate to guarantee a perfect balance between sugars and acidity.
The grapes, hand-picked and soft-pressed, are vinified in stainless steel and then undergo a second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method. During a period of 45 months on the lees, the wine develops a deep aromatic complexity and a creamy structure.
It has a bright straw yellow color and emerald reflections. The bouquet is elegant and complex, with scents of white flowers, such as acacia and jasmine, fruity notes of white peach and pear. With the increase in temperature, aromas of cooked apple, bread crust and toasted hints emerge. On the palate it is structured and creamy, with fine and persistent bubbles that caress the tongue. The flavors of ripe fruit combine harmoniously with mineral nuances and spicy touches, offering a long and satisfying finish.
Perfect as an aperitif, this Champagne pairs excellently with tasty first courses, mushroom or seafood risottos, fine fish, white meats and mature cheeses.
