Description
Bollinger Rosé is a Champagne produced by the Maison Bollinger located in Aÿ, in the Champagne region. Made with 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Pinot Meunier, this wine includes only 5 to 6% added red wine and more than 85% of the grapes come from Grands and Premiers Crus.
The vinification involves aging for a period longer than double that of the denomination requirements, thus ensuring the quality and complexity of the wine. The combination of the grape varieties and the careful dosage give this Champagne its typical structure and liveliness.
On the nose, Bollinger Rosé stands out for the nobility of red fruits, with hints of red currant, cherry and wild strawberry, accompanied by a spicy touch similar to the Special Cuvée. In the mouth, it offers a subtle combination of structure, length and liveliness, with a tannic finish due to the addition of red wine and berry flavours. The bubbles as fine as velvet complete the tasting experience.
It pairs perfectly with shrimp, lobster, salmon, Japanese and Asian cuisine, as well as fruit-based desserts.
