Description
This Champagne Brut Nature Zero comes from the centuries-old experience of Maison Tarlant, now led by the twelfth generation of the family. Made from a blend of Chardonnay, Meunier, Pinot Noir and ancient Champagne grape varieties, it comes from 31 parcels of vineyards with an average age of 45 years. The production philosophy is based on a handcrafted approach that respects the terroir, without the addition of dosage, to fully express the identity of the territory.
The winemaking involves gentle pressing and fermentation in barriques for six months, without malolactic fermentation. The wine undergoes neither filtration nor clarification, maintaining its purity intact. It is followed by a long aging on the lees for a minimum of six years in bottle, imparting complexity and aromatic depth. This process guarantees a Champagne of great character, an authentic expression of the maison.
Visually, it presents a brilliant golden color and fine, persistent bubbles. The bouquet is broad and refined, with notes of citrus, dried fruit, honey, and light toasted nuances. On the palate, it stands out for its voluptuous and fresh structure, with a perfect balance between sapidity and persistence. The absence of dosage enhances the purity of the sip, providing a mineral and vibrant sensation.
It pairs perfectly with oysters, raw fish, carpaccios, and seafood risottos, offering an elegant and refined tasting experience for any occasion.
