La Vigne d'Antan is a rare jewel, obtained from ungrafted Chardonnay. Fermented in wood and without dosage, it captures the pure essence of the terroir, expressing a surprising complexity and a vibrant minerality. The fresh and citrus notes intertwine with extraordinary elegance, paying homage to the tradition and uncontaminated character of Chardonnay in its most authentic form.

Description

Tarlant's Champagne La Vigne d'Antan is a Blanc de Blancs produced exclusively with 100% Chardonnay, from an ungrafted vineyard located in Oeuilly, in the Vallée de la Marne.

The grapes were harvested in September and vinified in barriques, with an aging on the lees for over 15 years. The result is a rare Champagne, characterized by a Brut Nature dosage and a unique complexity.

At sight it has a bright straw yellow color with an elegant perlage. On the nose we find hints of tropical and exotic fruit, white flowers and mineral notes. On the palate it is juicy and spicy due to the passage in wood, which gives freshness and a long and persistent finish.

This Champagne is suitable for fish and shellfish dishes, as well as an aperitif.
