Description
Champagne Minière F&R Brut Zéro is a Champagne obtained from a blend of 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Meunier, 25% Chardonnay and 15% reserve wines. The grapes come from the Les Fosselles, Les Fauvagnes and Les Couturelles vineyards, grown on calcareous and clayey soils.
The winemaking involves fermentation and aging in oak barrels, with 30% new barrels and 70% barrels older than 4 years, without carrying out malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for 7 years on the yeasts in the bottle, without dosage, and with a dégorgement that takes place at least 6 months before marketing.
On the nose, Champagne Minière F&R Brut Zéro presents a complex bouquet with grilled and yellow fruit notes. In the mouth, the attack is saline, but is balanced with the natural acidity of the grape, offering a long and citrus finish that leaves a pleasant salivation.
It pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, oysters and mature cheeses.
