Description
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature by Laherte Frères is produced on the southern slopes of Épernay. This Champagne represents the essence and energy of the territory, highlighting the complexity given by the old Chardonnay vines. The selection includes 50% reserve wines, aged in barrels on the lees, which help create a velvety structure and continuity of style.
The vineyards, approximately 35 years old, grow in harmony with nature, following ecological and environmentally friendly practices. Manual harvesting at full maturity and traditional pressing introduce the wine to alcoholic fermentation in small foudres and barrels, with some bâtonnage to further enrich the complexity. The partially carried out malolactic fermentation and the refinement on fine yeasts enhance the finesse and structure of the Champagne, which is disgorged manually without adding dosage.
At sight it appears crystalline, while on the nose it stands out for a rich bouquet of citrus fruits, apple, mango and a touch of ginger. The taste reveals a pleasant depth and balanced acidity, resulting in a long and saline finish, which leaves a lasting and refreshing impression.
Perfect as an aperitif, this Champagne finds its ideal pairing with oysters, seafood and appetizers.
