Description
This Champagne Brut Réserve is produced by the Maison André Clouet, founded in 1741 and located in Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims.
Champagne is made from Pinot Noir grapes which, once vinified, are aged for 95% in steel tanks and for 5% in wooden barrels. Following the sparkling process, the wine ages on the lees for 36 months.
It has a straw yellow color in the glass and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals aromas of ripe golden apple, pear and walnuts. The taste is creamy, with moderate acidity and excellent persistence.
Excellent as an aperitif, it can be enjoyed in combination with fish appetizers and spaghetti with clams.
