Description

This Champagne Brut Millesimato is produced by the Maison Champagne Barons de Rothschild, founded in 2005 from the union between the three branches of the noble family (Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Clarke, Château Lafite Rothschild).

It consists of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes in equal proportions, which undergo alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine ages on the fine lees for 6-7 months. This is followed by the sparkling process according to the champenoise method and aging on the lees for at least 7-8 years.

The Champagne has a golden yellow color, with a fine and abundant perlage. On the nose there are hints of citrus, raspberry with notes of chalk and spices. On the palate it is broad and balanced, with a spicy and persistent finish.

Excellent in combination with shellfish, poultry and white meats.
