Description
The Champagne Brut Concordia is produced by the Maison Champagne Barons de Rothschild, founded in 2005 from the union between the three branches of the noble family (Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Clarke, Château Lafite Rothschild).
It consists of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, which undergo alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine ages on the fine lees for 6-7 months. This is followed by the sparkling process according to the champenoise method and aging on the lees for at least 3 and a half years.
The Champagne has a straw yellow color with golden hues, with a fine and constant perlage. On the nose there are hints of pear and white peach, followed by notes of dried apricots and almonds. On the palate it is round and vertical, with a bitter and persistent finish.
Excellent in combination with seafood and shellfish.
