Description
THE Chambolle-Musigny by Reine Pédauque is a wine that captures the essence of Burgundy with its Pinot Noir grapes selected from the vineyards surrounding the municipality of Chambolle-Musigny, an area renowned for the production of high quality and great finesse wines. The soil, composed mainly of limestone and clay, gives the wine a unique complexity and elegance, reflecting the richness and diversity of its terroir.
The winemaking process is carefully curated, starting with a manual harvest of the grapes to ensure the highest quality. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with thermal control, to preserve the freshness and integrity of the aromas. Subsequently, the wine matures for 10 months in French oak barriques, a quarter of which are new, enriching the bouquet with vanilla and toasted notes, which blend harmoniously with the natural scents of the fruit.
Visually, the wine shows an intense ruby red color and brilliant nuances. The nose is surrounded by aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and strawberry, enriched by floral notes of violet and peony, and a subtle spicy touch of black pepper, creating an olfactory whole of great depth and inviting. In the mouth, the wine expresses a perfect balance between acidity and tannins, with a subtle but decisive structure, which leads to a long and persistent finish, marked by a pleasant minerality.
This Chambolle-Musigny pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes, from noble and tasty red meats, such as roasts and braised meats, to more delicate poultry and duck dishes, up to soft and tasty cheeses such as Camembert and Brie. Its versatility and elegance make it an ideal companion for important dinners and special occasions. It is recommended to open it one hour before consumption to let it breathe and release the full spectrum of its complex aromas.
