Description
The wines that flow from the Chambolle-Musigny area are described as fine, ethereal and delicate. It is one of the smallest appellations of the Côte d'Or, in French Burgundy.
The grapes that make up this red are 100% Pinot Noir, carefully harvested from 30-year-old vineyards, on soils characterized by the presence of limestone and clay. Following a fermentation in steel tanks, the wine ages for 10–12 months in wooden barrels.
Ruby red. The nose has notes of red and black fruits, in memory of the scents of berries and dry leaves. In the mouth it is delicate, fine and velvety in the tannin as well as in the well-present but very elegant flavour. It persists for a long time in the discretion of the red fruit.
To be combined with a roasted lamb.
