Description
The Chambertin "Clos de Bèze Grand Cru" comes from Domaine Bruno Clair located in Burgundy. The vineyards are located on clay-limestone soil with south-east exposure, at an average altitude of 280 metres.
Winemaking includes the use of 30% to 50% whole grapes, with maceration lasting 10 to 15 days in wooden barrels. Subsequently, the wine matures for 18 to 20 months in oak barriques, of which approximately 40% are new, ensuring a refined integration of the wood aromas with the fruit.
The wine has an intense red color. A rich bouquet of black fruits and spices emerges on the nose. On the palate, it offers silky tannins and a structure that promises remarkable longevity.
This wine is ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
