Description
The Chablis Montée de Tonnerre of the Domaine de Vauroux is made in the Chablis cru of the same name, which benefits from an enviable exposure to the sun. It is obtained from 50-year-old vineyards planted in a clay soil characterized by a strong presence of millennial kimmeridge marls which give this wine incomparable mineral notes.
The vinification takes place traditionally in steel, with a long fermentation at low temperature and an ageing in bottle that goes from 12 to 18 months.
Pale golden yellow colour, the nose is wonderful and offers a seductive combination of iodine notes and spices. On the palate it is a wine of great cleanliness, soft and delicious, with a very pleasant finish.
Suitable to accompany recipes based on fish, molluscs and crustaceans, it is the perfect complement of white meat second courses.
