Description

Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is an elegant Burgundy wine produced by Patrick Piuze. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the prestigious vineyards of the Chablis region, it is a classic example of finesse and complexity. The unique terroir, characterized by calcareous soils rich in marine fossils, gives this wine an extraordinary minerality.

The winemaking process involves fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging in French oak barrels to enhance the varietal characteristics of the Chardonnay and add depth to the aromatic profile. The prolonged aging also allows the wine to develop a harmonious structure and great aging capacity.

On the nose, this Chablis offers a bouquet of green fruits, acacia flowers, and delicate mineral notes reminiscent of oyster shells. On the palate, the mineral flavors blend with a good concentration of ripe fruit, supported by a fresh acidity and a long, well-balanced finish that expresses intensity and finesse.

Perfect when paired with fatty fish dishes such as salmon or tuna, as well as fresh seafood.
