Description
Patrick Piuze's Chablis Grand Cru Bougros comes from one of the most prestigious areas of the appellation. Located north of the municipality of Chablis, this vineyard stands out for its deep and rich soils. Sustainable viticulture is a fundamental practice for producing this wine.
Manual harvesting of Chardonnay grapes is essential to maintaining the high quality of the wine. The fermentation process takes place in barrels used for ten months, selected from vintages with high acid content for spontaneous fermentation. Subsequently, the wine matures in stainless steel tanks for a period of 12-16 months, balancing the characteristics of the wood with the freshness of the steel.
At sight, the wine has a straw yellow color. On the nose, it exudes elegant aromas of apple, peach and white flowers, which invite you to taste it. In the mouth, the acidity guides a mineral and sumptuous tasting experience, supported by a well-defined alcohol content that enriches the profile of the wine.
It is excellent paired with crustacean, mollusc and seafood main courses, where its structure and freshness can truly shine and complement the delicacy of the seafood.
