Description
Louis Latour's Chablis La Chanfleure is a white wine produced in the Chablis region of northern Burgundy from Chardonnay grapes. The vines have an average age of 30 years and are grown on soils of Portlandian and Kimmeridgian limestone.
The harvest is mechanical, thus ensuring efficiency and quality in the grape harvest. The vinification follows a traditional method in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with complete malolactic fermentation. The wine then ages for 8-10 months in steel, developing a fresh and mineral aromatic profile, typical of the Chablis terroir.
Bright pale yellow in color with green highlights, it releases delicate notes of honeysuckle on the nose. It is round and fresh on the palate, with aromas of white peach and a mineral finish that enhances the typicality of the calcareous soil.
Perfect when paired with shellfish, seafood and cured meats.
