Description
The French wine-growing region of Chablis evokes precious glasses for finesse and elegance. It is part of the white face of France, which has established itself in the wine history of the whole world as much as its red berry fame. The Le Chablisienne winery, for years, has translated this historical and enological charm into high quality bottles.
The Premier Cru Fourchaume 2016 is made up of 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards planted on clay and limestone soils. Refine for at least 12 months in barrique.
Straw yellow, the nose traces a profile of yellow-fleshed fruit with sweet connotations, on the mineral background. The taste is creamy and, at the same time, savory. Very fine even in persistence.
To be combined with a steamed salmon.
