Description
This Santa Tresa red wine is born in vineyards located in Sicily, in the province of Ragusa, from Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes.
The grapes are destemmed and pressed. The Nero d'Avola grapes ferment in Slavonian oak barrels, where the wine remains for 15 days. Frappato ferments in steel tanks, where it remains for 8-10 days. Once the wines have been assembled, they are aged in oak barrels and to a small extent in French oak barriques for at least a year.
Ruby red in color with violet reflections, it expresses itself on the nose with hints of cherry, plums and sweet notes of caramel. The sip is soft, with delicate tannins.
Excellent to accompany grilled meat.
