Description
The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Giambattista Valli di Feudi del Pisciotto was born in vineyards located in the Ragusa area of Vittoria, in Sicily.
It is produced with Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, harvested exclusively by hand in the last week of September. Fermentation takes place partly in steel and partly in barrique. Subsequently the wine ages for 10 months in new and second passage barriques, and in bottle for a further 12 months before being marketed.
The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Giambattista Valli di Feudi del Pisciotto has a concentrated cherry red color. The nose opens with intense and persistent aromas of ripe pomegranate. On the palate it is full-bodied and warm, pleasantly balanced and persistent.
Perfect to accompany braised and roasted, it is ideal in combination with skewered game and spicy and seasoned cheeses.
