Description

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli di Planeta comes to light in the homonymous estate, whose name is inspired by the Dirillo river, known for being the landing place of the brave Aeneas.

It is the result of a careful selection of Nero d'Avola and Frappato di Vittoria grapes, which are harvested entirely by hand in the second half of September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins, for 21 days at a controlled temperature of 25 ° C. Follow the malolactic fermentation in steel and the 12-month maturation in oak barrels.

The Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli di Planeta takes on a color in the glass that changes between ruby and purple. The nose expresses pleasant notes of black cherry and cardamom, followed by vanilla and cinnamon in the finish. In the mouth it is sweet and complex, presenting ripe and soft tannins, which support hints of smoked bacon, cooked must and oregano.

The combination between this wine and roasted pork is excellent. Also ideal with spicy Asian fish dishes.
