Description
Melea is a white wine from the Cuenca region, in Castile La Mancha. It is made mostly of Verdejo with some Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes used come from certified organic vineyards, cultivated dry in sandy-clayey soils and located at an altitude of 660 metres.
The winemaking process involves fermentation with indigenous yeast at a controlled temperature of 15°C, using clean musts. The refinement takes place in steel.
Melea has a pale lemon yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of pineapple, green grass, white flowers and a touch of flint. On the palate, it is dry and refreshing, with a long citrus finish characterized by concentrated flavors.
It is an ideal wine to pair with fresh fish dishes or summer salads.
