Description

Carmignano Villa di Capezzana di Capezzana was born in the vineyards located in the municipality of Carmignano, in the province of Prato.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, and then the must carries out malolactic fermentation in wooden tonneaux for about 12 months. The wine then ages in the bottle for 12 months.

It is characterized by an intense deep ruby, with violet hints. The nose opens with an elegant alcoholic note, enriched by pleasant spicy hints. It is intense on the palate, with aromas of ripe fruit, black cherry and raspberry.

Perfect to accompany red meats and white meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
