Description
Carmignano Santa Cristina in Pilli from Fattoria Ambra is produced from the cru of Santa Cristina in Pilli and Montefortini in Carmignano, in Tuscany.
It is produced mainly with Sangiovese and Cabernet, Canaiolo and other red grape varieties, harvested entirely by hand. The wine ages in oak barrels for 12 months before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense red color. The nose opens with elegant hints of cherry and black currant, enriched with pleasant spicy notes and delicate aromatic nuances. On the palate it is pleasantly seductive and refined, with fine tannins and a long and fresh finish.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
