Description

Rosa Grande is the pink version of Carignano del Sulcis produced by the Mesa winery, located in the Sardinian municipality of Iglesias.

It consists of pure Carignano del Sulcis grapes from the area of the same name, Sulcis, located in south-west Sardinia. The Mediterranean climate and the sandy-clayey soil allow healthy and fragrant grapes to be obtained at the time of the manual harvest. The must undergoes a short maceration in contact with the skins and then ages in steel for about 6 months.

Its color in the glass is cherry pink. The bouquet of rose and red fruits including raspberry are the prelude to a fruity, juicy and very elegant sip that persists in freshness and a slightly citrus memory.

Try it with pizza.
