Description
The Carignano del Sulcis of Cantina Santadi belongs to the Ondas line and is born in the vineyards of the lower Sulcis, in Sardinia.
It is mainly produced with Carignano del Sulcis and Bovaleddu grapes, harvested entirely by hand between the second half of September and the first half of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-30 ° C, with periodic pumping over. The wine then ages for a few months in steel before bottling.
Intense ruby red color, the nose reveals aromas of red fruit with a note of licorice. The sip is warm, with a good persistence.
Ideal as an accompaniment to first courses with meat sauces, savory cold cuts and salami and grilled meats.
