Description
The Cannonau of Sardinia Carnevale di Sedilesu was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Mamoiada, in the province of Nuoro.
It is produced exclusively with Cannonau grapes, harvested in October. Fermentation takes place spontaneously after which the wine ages in barrique for 14-16 months and ages in bottle for a further 6 months before being placed on the market.
Carnival is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with fruity hints of morello cherry, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of vanilla. On the palate it is broad, soft and pleasantly velvety.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
