Description
Francesco Cadinu's Perdas Longas red wine was born in Sardinia, from old vineyards located in the Mamoiada area, in the province of Nuoro. The name means "long stones", which characterize the vineyard from which most of the grapes come.
The grapes are harvested in September and vinified with spontaneous fermentation without temperature control for 15-20 days in small vats. The wine obtained then ages in wooden barrels for 12-15 months.
Dark ruby red in color, the nose is expressed with aromas of ripe red fruit and spicy notes. The sip is warm and powerful, with well integrated tannins.
Ideal in combination with pasta with meat sauce and stewed meat, both red and game.
