Description

Sedilesu's Cannonau Ballu Tundu is a Sardinian red wine born in Mamoiada in Barbagia, in the province of Nuoro. The wine comes from vineyards located at 650 meters above sea level

The wine is made from 100% Cannonau grapes, which are harvested by hand in September. Once in the cellar they are pressed and fermented spontaneously, with a maceration on the skins for 30-45 days. The wine is then aged in 40 hl wooden barrels and in the bottle for at least 9 months. The wine is not filtered.

Intense ruby red color, the nose expresses aromas of wild berries, spices, balsamic Mediterranean herbs such as myrtle and juniper. The sip is powerful and balanced, with persistence.

Excellent to combine with tasty and substantial dishes of red meats and game, both stewed and roasted.
