Description
Cannonau Moro is part of the Mesa portfolio, a company located in the Sulcis area. It is a series of labels capable of translating the Sardinian tradition into a juicy nectar, ready to be enjoyed glass by glass.
The complexity of these Cannonau grapes derives from the variability of the soils, which partly have a sandy profile and partly a calcareous-clayey one. The vines grown as saplings maximize the quality level of each single bunch, rigorously and carefully harvested by hand. At the end of the fermentation phase, the wine ages for 6 months both in concrete tanks and in barriques. Another 3 months in the bottle make it ready to be sold.
It is striking in its ruby red hue. The nose is outlined on notes of red fruit, geranium and violet, on a spicy background. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with excellent structure, good tannins and moderate freshness.
Perfect to accompany a pasta seasoned with a game ragout or a meat sauce.
