Description

Fòla is a red wine from Siddura, capable of conveying all the expressiveness of the Sardinian land.

It is made from pure Cannonau grapes from vineyards planted on sandy and granitic soils at 300 metres above sea level. The harvest is done by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October. After crushing, the grapes undergo maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel vats. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and ageing on the lees, both in steel vats and in medium-sized barrels.

The colour is ruby red. The nose is complex and articulate, with aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and a balsamic note reminiscent of peppermint. On the palate, it is both fresh and smooth, with soft tannins and a full body. It finishes with the persistence of the fruit.

Perfect with lamb chops.
