Description
Èrema , produced by the Siddura winery, is the result of only Cannonau grapes from Gallura.
The vineyards are located at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level and have a sandy, granite and limestone pedological profile. The harvest takes place manually between the end of September and the beginning of October. A soft pressing precedes the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The wine rests on its fine lees and is then bottled. Here it matures for at least one month before being marketed.
It is ruby red with purple reflections. Its scent is reminiscent of cherry, wild berries and earthy notes, embraced by a background of Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth it shows a good freshness and an excellent balance, confirming the juicy character of the fruit.
To be paired with a plate of tagliatelle with lamb ragu.
