Description
The Cannonau di Sardegna Caòr di Quartomoro is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Dorgali, in the province of Nuoro.
It is produced exclusively with Cannonau grapes, harvested manually in boxes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C, with maceration in contact with the skins for 7 days. Subsequently the wine is aged for 6 months in steel and in barrique, and for a further 6 months in the bottle before being marketed.
This Cannonau di Sardegna has a medium-strong red color, tending towards orange with evolution. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, made up of spicy, fruity and balsamic notes in perfect harmony. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, of good length.
Perfect to accompany meat-based first courses and peasant legume soups, this red wine is ideal in combination with stewed or grilled meat main courses and with aged cheeses.
