Description

Antonella Corda is a young winegrower who has managed the family estate since 2010 with the aim of producing high quality wines. The estate is located in the Serdiana area, a few kilometers from Cagliari, in southern Sardinia. The property covers about 40 hectares, 15 of which are dedicated to the vineyard and the rest to olive groves and arable land. The vineyards are located in a splendid hilly area with a mild and breezy Mediterranean climate.

Cannonau is grown on pebbly soils, with high planting density and low yields. The harvest takes place manually and after the classic red vinification with maceration on the skins, the wine ages partly in steel tanks and partly in non-toasted French oak barrels.

At sight it has a bright ruby red color and expresses fragrant aromas, with notes of cherry, blueberry, black currant, blackberry and delicate spicy nuances. Soft tannins, a rich and intense fruit, give a harmonious and satisfying sip.

To combine with roasts, grilled meats.
