Description

Canelli, formerly known as Moscato d'Asti, produced by the Bera Vittorio e Figli winery is a slightly sparkling sweet white wine, made entirely with Moscato Bianco grapes grown in the Piedmont region. The soil, composed of siliceous sandstone and marine marl, helps give the wine an intense and complex aromatic profile, enhancing the characteristics of the grape variety.

The vinification takes place through a soft pressing of the grapes, followed by a spontaneous fermentation in an autoclave that is blocked to maintain the residual sugar. The wine ages in the same container to preserve aromas and freshness, reaching a perfect balance between sweetness and vivacity.

It has a bright straw yellow color and rich aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits and ripe peach, accompanied by a delicate touch of sage. On the palate, the important sweetness is balanced by a pleasant acidity and a light effervescence, which give the wine a surprising and never cloying drinkability.

Perfect with holiday desserts such as panettone and pandoro, this Moscato also goes well with fruit or cream-based desserts, enhancing their aromatic qualities.
