Campania IGT Bianco Dall'Isola 2023 Joaquin
Description
Joaquin dall'isola is one of the very few wines made on the island of Capri, in the Mediterranean. This product turns out to be one of the flagships of the Campania-based company Joaquin.
The wine is a blend of both white and red grapes: Fiano, Aglianico, Greco, Falanghina, Biancolella and Ciunchesa. These grapes, harvested in the first weeks of October in the Anacapri vineyards, are quickly transported to the Joaquin cellars in Montefalcione where they are left to dry for about a month. The vinification in white is then carried out. The wine ages in wooden barrels for a few months.
Joaquin from the island has a straw yellow color. The nose offers notes of white fruit elegantly supported by hints of chamomile and straw. On the palate it offers excellent roundness with a delicate mineral flavour. The aftertaste is persistent and decidedly interesting.
It goes well with fish-based dishes, ideal for appetizers and vegetables.
